 Message  from the Chair of the Trustees -Bill Boyd -20 Second Elevator Speech!

  Today’s generation supports causes rather than organizations, and so we in Rotary should be able to clearly identify the causes that drive us. When somebody asks you what Rotary is, you do not have to fumble for words. Tell the person that we are an organization of service minded individuals around the world who are working to make the world a better place with our efforts in water and sanitation, basic education and literacy, maternal and child health, disease prevention and treatment, economic and community development, and peace and conflict resolution.

 You can say that in 20 seconds!

We  are a group of business and professional leaders who live and work in the North Bay - Nipissing Ontario area.  We are part of a world wide organization:  Rotary International.  Also,  we enjoy the support of our families, colleagues and friends.  Our diverse backgrounds, skills and a positive attitude enable us to  serve our local and global community. 
While we are engaged in numerous projects, our  focus is children and youth.

Rotary  is an organization of business and professional persons united  worldwide who provide humanitarian service, encourage high ethical  standards in all vocations, and help build goodwill and peace in the world.
